This portable 2 axes CNC wheel turning lathe is made as an in-situ solution to turn the locomotive wheeel for wear correction without dismantling the wheel from the locomotive axle. The locomotive can be jacked up, this portable lathe can be mounted on the track and the profile can be turned using Siemens Sinumerik controls provided. Portable Electrical panel with operator controls with wheel including HMI, MPG provided for easy programming.
