Tegenoverliggende gat instrumenten bieden de voordelen van een wegwerp-index staat hardmetalen wisselplaten. Counter bore tools are offered in any size with single, double or triple cutting edges based on the size. Vrij beschikbare standaard hardmetalen wisselplaten worden gebruikt. Piloten zijn afneembaar types, die het gebruik van verschillende dia piloten voor dezelfde dia van tegenoverliggende gat toelaat. Deze functie maakt het ook mogelijk een eenvoudige vervanging van beschadigde / versleten piloten. Om gemakkelijk spaanafvoer te vergemakkelijken, goed ontworpen japen en reliëf zijn voorzien op de gereedschapschacht.

• Offered with tapered or straight shank.
• Standard ISO grade indexable carbide carbide inserts used. Replacement inserts can be bought from a local tool shop.
• Double or triple cutting edges provided so that feed per tooth can be increased for better speed and finish.
• Guide pilots used to guide the tool and provide sufficient rigidity while cutting.
• Guide pilots result in better concentricity.
• Guide pilots are detachable type. You can use one counterbore tool for multiple holes by changing the guide pilot.
• Detachable guide pilots can be easily replaced after getting worn out.
• Engineered relief, typical to flutes of a drill provided for chips to flow out.
• Manufacturing lead time of maximum 20 days.

COMBO COUNTERBORE DRILLS

Counterboring or spot facing of holes after drilling requires tool change. Changing the tool after drilling each hole, so that counterbore & drills are concentric, proves to be a long tedious & time consuming job.

We have developed a combination tool, which can drill and spot face/counterbore in the same go. No need of changing the tool each time. The tool comes with either HSS or carbide drills. The counterbore is done by standard indexable carbide inserts. This not only is a cheaper option but also a faster one.

Standard straight shank drills can be used in this tool. The drills are held in place by side lock holding arrangement, where as the tool holder can have either a straight shank or a taper shank. The customer may choose which shank he needs.
